EC has organized the activity "Replace plastic, protect the environment", where representatives of the Swedish Embassy were also present.

During this activity, glass bottles were donated in order to stimulate citizens to replace plastic products with eco-friendly products. In addition, the publication of some findings from the research conducted weeks ago by EC, related to the amount of plastic use by the citizens of Prizren, it has also artistically improvised the use and impact of plastic on the environment.

According to the data of the Kosovo Customs, for the last 3 years, nearly 366 million kilograms of plastic products were imported, while over 63 million kilograms of plastic products were exported.

Therefore, EC recommends the reduction of plastic products and the use of eco-friendly products instead, as well as the promotion of waste recycling.
