On the World Car Free Day, EC has carried out a public performance, which aims to sensitize citizens to avoid using cars, addressing the importance of protecting the environment. The mission of this day is to raise awareness and increase the active involvement of society in the protection and development of the environment. The use of bicycles and walking short distances are alternatives that are being practiced today in many countries of the world and have recorded positive results in favor of the health of citizens and the environment itself.

Based on the results of the "Traffic Safety" research carried out by EC, it appears that about 55% of the citizens of Prizren have raised as an issue the lack of adequate spaces for riding bicycles. Although some citizens have started to use bicycles as a means of transport, often the latter are encountering difficulties, because they are not offered space to move in traffic due to the fact that there are insufficient bicycle paths on the roads of the city.
