For years, the lack of waste baskets on the main streets of Prizren has been seen as a problem by the citizens. Waste containers today play an important role in creating an environmentally friendly space - keeping waste contained and enabling responsible companies to collect it and remove it from settlements. In this way, the risk of environmental pollution is prevented and public spaces are kept clean and orderly.

In a research carried out with the citizens of Prizren, they expressed concern about the lack of baskets and their maintenance. 49% emphasized that according to them there are not enough baskets in the streets and public spaces, while 41% stated that there are but they are not maintained (Green public spaces in Prizren).

In order to encourage public debate and raise this issue of this problematic, EC has organized a performance. In the road segment from the bus station in Prizren to the roundabout in the Bazhdërhanë neighborhood, it has placed several improvised waste baskets with the motto "Here could be a basket".

Competent institutions are recommended for the application of useful practices, as well as to increase the number of baskets in places where it is considered necessary, towards the creation of a more ecological and waste-free environment, which ensures the protection and preservation of the environment and keeping public spaces clean.
