Damaged Panels at the Archaeological Site Remain Unrepaired Even After One Year

One year after EC Ma Ndryshe publicly raised concerns about the damaged information panels at the Archaeological Site in Sheshi i Lidhjes in Prizren, the situation on the ground remains unchanged. The damaged panels have not been repaired, undermining the site's informational and educational function, as well as the experience of both citizens and visitors.
The Archaeological Site at Sheshi i Lidhjes is an important part of Prizren’s cultural heritage and represents a site of significant historical and archaeological value. Therefore, its maintenance should be continuous and carried out in accordance with cultural heritage protection standards. Neglecting supporting elements, such as information panels, directly affects the interpretation of the site and the quality of its presentation to the public.
EC Ma Ndryshe calls on the responsible institutions to take the necessary measures without delay to repair or replace the damaged panels and to ensure the regular maintenance of this public space.
At the same time, we call on citizens to act responsibly towards public assets and to refrain from any actions that may result in their damage. Cultural heritage sites are a shared public asset, and their preservation requires not only the commitment of institutions but also the awareness and care of the community.
