EC has continued the series of discussions "Green Talks", with the activity held in the Municipality of Peja. The purpose of this discussion was to encourage debate on environmental issues between school students and representatives of institutions, giving space to both sides to be informed about each other's ideas and commitments in this field.

Present at this meeting were the mayor of the Municipality of Peja, Mr. Gazmend Muhaxheri, students and teachers from the primary schools "Asdreni", "Lidhja e Prizren", "Vaso Pashë Shkodrani" and "8 Marsi".

The students revealed to the mayor Mr. Muhaxheri the activities they will carry out, such as: marking environment days, planting saplings, actions of cleaning public spaces, distribution of flyers for the purpose of public awareness, activities related to waste management and the like.

Further, during the debate together with Mayor Muhaxheri, it was discussed about the investments of the Municipality, including interventions in public spaces, the functionalization of the plant for the treatment of waste water, the addition of green spaces, as well as other realized projects that are intended for the protection and environmental care.
