EC Ma Ndryshe has carried out the intervention with LED efficient lamps in SHFMU "Nefit Jusufi"-Skorobisht in the village of Skorobishte in Prizren, based on the demands of the school community. During the regular meetings that EC held with this educational institution, the lack of efficient lamps as well as damaged lighting in some classrooms was presented as a concern.

This intervention will also serve as a practical demonstration for students about the measures that should be taken at school and in their homes together with parents to save energy. In the current circumstances, it is necessary to promote specific measures, which enable the best and most sustainable use of electricity in Kosovo.

In addition to environmental awareness, this investment increases the efficiency of the building thus influencing the protection of the environment and saving electricity, so EC plans to develop such examples in the coming years in schools and other buildings according to citizens' requests.
