This week-long activity aims to offer 20 representatives of the local communities of Janjevë/o with different ethnic backgrounds the opportunity to gain basic knowledge in the field of tourism as well as for tourist operators.

The training program will cover topics such as concepts and types of tour guides, professional behavior and ethics of tour guides, tour itinerary, best practices in the field as a tour guide and tourism business practices. Thanks to the combination of theory and practice in the field, participants will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the comprehensive practices and knowledge of the tourism industry, its importance and the benefits of being part of it.

The training will create a positive impact on the tourism of Janjevë/o and the well-being of the local communities by increasing their skills and knowledge in the field of tourism.

This activity is carried out within the project "Mapping Rural Tourism in Janjevë/Janjevo". The project aims to promote the rich cultural and natural heritage of this area, through the development of residents' skills, through the provision of tourist guide services, as well as the identification and mapping of the cultural and natural assets of this village and their promotion through the online platform.
