EC Ma Ndryshe has realized the three-day activity "School of Activism in the Community", which aims to train young people and offer a unique experience on the application of acquired knowledge in practice.

Throughout these days, young people from the municipalities of Ferizaj, Gjilan, Hani i Elezit, Kamenica, Kaçanik and Prizren have been informed about the mechanisms of activism and mobilization methods. They had the opportunity to engage in various topics through lectures and organized workshops.

Together with lecturers, trainers and mentors, participants through data tasks discussed sustainable development, ecological footprints and how each individual affects the environment. Also, the right to a healthy and sustainable environment was part of the discussions where the students had the opportunity to share among themselves the problems they encounter every day regarding urban planning and the lack of green spaces.

They were also informed about basic human rights and freedom, with special emphasis on the right to access public documents, as well as the role of the artists in society through ideas, concepts, artistic interventions, education and activism.

During the last day, the workshop called "A material. A product" took place, in which the participants had the opportunity to work only with one material (plastic bags) thus realizing a functional product.

During this training, the young people also learned about designing the cycle of a project, the steps of realizing a project, since all the participants have applied to the school with an idea of their own which they find necessary to implement for the benefit of the community.

For the processing of these initial ideas of theirs, the participants were assisted by trainers and mentors through workshops and group work.

At the end of this school, all participants were provided with certificates of participation.
