EC Ma Ndryshe together with the eco-club of the Gymnasium "Remzi Ademaj" celebrated Earth Day. During this activity, we intervened with greenery and seats in public spaces along "Eqrem Çabej" and "Bingeni" streets, in the ”Ortakoll” neighborhood in Prizren.

In these areas, various types of tree saplings (Birch, Scotch, Norway Maple, Japanese Plum, Leyland and Arizona) as well as perennial flowers have been planted. The eco-club together with the children of this neighborhood helped during the planting process, and also colored the seats placed in the park.

EC considers that public spaces are the basic element of a functional city. Based on the observation of the current situation, in Kosovo these spaces are not enough, they are not maintained properly.

The other important element is the inclusiveness of citizens in the planning and realization of these spaces, therefore EC through this activity has activated young people in creative ways, thus making them feel responsible and take care of these spaces in the future.
