Today, on 12 September 2014, EC Ma Ndryshe held the subsequent debate with the citizens and representatives from the Basic Court in Prizren on the topic “Women’s rights to inheritance”, under the “Linking communities to justice providers” project, funded by USAID and overseen by ATRC. The debate was intended to bring out deliberations between citizens, panelists and the Basic Court of Prizren on the fundamental concepts of inheritance acquired by will (testament) and by law, with particular emphasis on women. In this debate, to discuss about this topic with the citizens, present were Mehmet Ndrecaj, Judge in the Basic Court in Prizren and Valbona Salihu, from Lawyers Association NORMA. Read press release.
