TRAINING CONTINUES FOR MAKING TRADITIONAL CLOTHING "DOLLAMA"
The training for making traditional "dollama" clothes is continuing. This training is aimed at training women and girls from the Prizren region to sew traditional handmade bridal dresses to increase their job opportunities in the future.
The training will last 4 months and the participants will learn the traditional craft from professionals with extensive experience in this field.
The project "Dollama, a cultural asset of Kosovo" is the continuation of the efforts of EC Ma Ndryshe in the protection and development of cultural heritage. The project aims to contribute to the preservation of the "dollama" craft through the promotion and transfer of knowledge. The project includes the region of Prizren and the activities include representatives from all communities of this region.
This project is part of the grant funded by the project "Cultural Heritage as a driver of dialogue between communities and social cohesion" implemented by UNDP in Kosovo and financed by the European Union's Instrument contributing to Peace and Stability (IcSP).
