The practice of not respecting the consent of the cultural heritage authorities during construction activities in the Historic Center of Prizren is continuing. According to the officials of the Regional Center for Cultural Heritage in Prizren, the latest occurrence of this nature is happening in a building opposite the Sinan Pasha Mosque.

RCCH officials say that the permission for internal and roof renovation has been issued for the building in question by the competent authorities, but that the permission is not respected during the works. They also state that 3 times within 2 weeks RCCH has notified the Inspectorate of the Municipality of Prizren and that this body did not react on this case. Read press release.
