EC Ma Ndryshe, in cooperation with students from “Fadil Hisari” Lower Secondary School in Prizren and the local community, has revitalized the public space on “Sylejman Vokshi” Street, in the Vëllezërit Stavileci neighbourhood.

The activity aims to improve the environment and quality of life in the neighbourhood, while raising awareness among citizens and local institutions about the importance of environmental protection and the maintenance of shared spaces.

The cleaning and improvement of this space were requested by neighbourhood residents, who consider the intervention important for creating a cleaner and healthier environment. The space is also located near Prizren Hospital; therefore, its improvement has a positive impact on the surrounding environment and on the experience of citizens who frequent the area.

As part of the activity, students, under the guidance of a professional artist, created an environmentally themed mural on the transformer enclosure located within the space. The area was also cleaned, seedlings and shrubs were planted to create a green barrier, and benches and waste bins were installed.

Through this joint effort, including the technical assistance from KEDS, the space has been enhanced with greenery and urban furniture, while the involvement of students and residents has helped foster a shared sense of responsibility for environmental protection and the care of public spaces.
