The training for women and girls on the handmade production of traditional “dollama” garments has been successfully completed.

The training, organized by EC Ma Ndryshe, equipped participants from the Prizren region with skills in the hand-sewing of “dollama” garments, offering them concrete opportunities for self-employment and economic empowerment. Throughout the several months training, participants learned traditional sewing techniques, while simultaneously contributing to the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage.

Such activities are a continuation of EC Ma Ndryshe’s efforts to protect and develop cultural heritage and aim to contribute to the safe guarding of traditional crafts through the promotion and transfer of knowledge to younger generations. Therefore, trainings of this nature will continue in the coming years.
