Students express their views on human rights and archaeological heritage through art
The views of the community regarding the former OZNA prison in Prizren (intended to be turned into a museum) as well as the Archaeological Museum of the Prizren region, have been artistically reflected by the students of lower secondary schools through the subjects of visual arts.
The students have attended a workshop for painting, drawing and graphics, and after making visits to the two mentioned buildings thanks to artistic mentoring and their imagination they have expressed their vision about human rights and the importance of archaeological heritage artifacts. They have used different techniques to express emotions and experiences in these special spaces of the old city. While the more specific requests that have emerged during the discussions and work process will be addressed to the relevant institutions.
The artwork made by this group of students will be exhibited in the premises of the Archaeological Museum of the Prizren region.
This activity was carried out within the project “Inclusive Cultural Heritage” with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
