Students from Peqan, Suhareka Learn About Kosovo’s Contemporary History at the “Reporting House”

Students of the lower secondary school “Dëshmorët e Tivarit” from Peqan in the Municipality of Suhareka took part in an educational visit to the “Reporting House” museum in Prishtina, organized by EC Ma Ndryshe.
In this cultural space, where the documentation of truth meets contemporary art, students were introduced firsthand to journalism, photography, and media artifacts that provide evidence of developments during the period 1989–1999, from peaceful resistance to armed conflict and ultimately the liberation of Kosovo.
The museum also presents violations of human rights during this period, turning the space into a call for remembrance, justice, and learning for younger generations.
For the students from Peqan, Suhareka, this visit was an opportunity to understand how media and art help preserve truth and build sustainable historical narratives.
The activity was carried out within the framework of the project “Cultural Heritage for All: Preservation, Education, Development, and Innovation,” implemented by EC Ma Ndryshe with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, aiming to bring young people closer to the country’s cultural heritage and history.
