On the occasion of the International Day for Biological Diversity, EC Ma Ndryshe organized an educational visit for students of “Fatmir Berisha” Primary and Lower Secondary School to the Natural Sciences and Biodiversity Laboratory at Ukshin Hoti University in Prizren, with the aim of promoting environmental education, increasing knowledge about biodiversity, and highlighting the importance of nature conservation.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to closely explore the laboratory’s facilities and collections, which operate within the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences. The laboratory includes zoological and botanical collections, stuffed and preserved specimens, animal skeletons, entomological collections, as well as laboratory and research equipment used for biodiversity studies and environmental education.

Through presentations and practical demonstrations, students learned about the importance of biodiversity, the role of natural history museums and laboratories in its preservation, as well as the significance of environmental education and scientific research in protecting nature.
