The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, namely Minister Vlora Dumoshi has signed the decision to approve the Management Plan of the Historical Center of Prizren (PMQHP).

This Plan is the result of many years of efforts of the institutions and civil society of Prizren for the protection and development of the historical center of the city.

The action plan of this strategic document requires commitment and work from central level institutions, the Municipality of Prizren as well as other relevant actors.

EC Ma Ndryshe, as part of the Network of Cultural Organizations, has led the drafting process of this important document and is also committed to monitoring its implementation since the main work is starting now.

The purpose of PMQHP is to define strategic policies for the protection, administration and contemporary sustainable development of the Historical Center of Prizren. This historic center, according to the legislation in force, has been identified as a field of architectural conservation, property of cultural and historical heritage under permanent protection as well as a special protected area with values of local, state and international interest.
