A meeting was held with residents of the “Jeta e Re” neighborhood, where urban and environmental challenges were discussed

EC Ma Ndryshe organized a meeting with residents of the “Jeta e Re” neighborhood in Prizren as part of the “Public Spaces 4 All” project. Officials from the DHSP of the Municipality of Prizren and representatives from KMM “Eco Regjioni” – Prizren were present.
During the meeting, the main issues affecting the community were discussed, including pollution from construction, lack of street cleanliness, illegal waste dumping sites, traffic, and the absence of road signage. Concerns were also raised about public lighting, the lack of a kindergarten, stray dogs, and mobility difficulties for the elderly due to the absence of urban transport within the neighborhood.
Institutional representatives provided clarifications on existing services and encouraged citizens to report problems through official channels, as well as to submit written requests for concrete solutions.
The meeting concluded with a field visit, where participants observed the identified issues firsthand, with a particular focus on illegal waste disposal sites.
This activity was carried out within the framework of the project “Public Spaces 4 All,” implemented by EC Ma Ndryshe with support from the German Government and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), through GIZ Kosovo.
