Employment in Education: Education or Degradation
Transparency Forum held today its ninth debate entitled “Confrontation” on the topic- ‘Employment in Education: Education or degradation?’. The debate tackled the current situation of the education sector in Prizren, after the recent reports on a number of employments in schools where suspicions rose for the violation of employment competition criteria, illegal payments to obtain a job and influence of strong political personalities.
Transparency Forum invited the following panel members: Mr. Nexhat Çoçaj, Director of the Municipal Education Directorate; Mr. Nait Hasani, Head of the Education Committee of the Assembly of Kosovo; and Mr. Arbër Rexha, Head of the Education Committee in Prizren Municipality. This debate was moderated by journalist Qazim Morina, member of Transparency Forum.
