EC Ma Ndryshe marked June 5th – World Environment Day – with an awareness-raising activity in collaboration with the community of the “Lekë Dukagjini” school, Petrova branch, aiming to increase environmental care and educate the younger generation on the importance of its protection.

Based on the requests of the school community, four small waste bins were placed along the neighborhood road frequently used by students on their way to and from school. These locations were identified as areas often affected by pollution due to a lack of proper waste disposal infrastructure.

In addition to this practical on-site intervention, students had the opportunity to play an educational environmental game in the schoolyard. The game aims to increase students’ knowledge about the environment and the values of natural heritage, as well as to raise environmental awareness in an entertaining and engaging way.
