The practice of not respecting the consents of the cultural heritage authorities and the construction permit issued by the Municipality of Prizren during construction activities in the Historic Center of Prizren is continuing. The new case of this nature, according to the local authorities, happened on Bujtina Street.

According to official data, the case in question has a construction permit in B + P + 1, which according to the Inspectorate of the Municipality of Prizren has not been respected and exceeded. Regarding this case, the Inspectorate has claimed that they have taken the measure of prohibiting the works and initiating further procedures in accordance with the legislation in force.

EC calls upon all parties to act seriously and to apply all the legal norms in this protected area in order to preserve and promote its values.
